The lamb/beef and vegetables.

The flickering lights and hot sauce!

February: Four Sisters Restaurant Review (LT)

What did you like BEST?
I really enjoyed the Hot and Sour Soup , Shaky Beef , Chinese Broccoli , Pork Spring Rolls and Lemon Grass Chicken.
The Shaky Beef was nicely cooked and tender. I enjoyed it dipped in the Lemon pepper sauce. The spring’s rolls were to die for! I wish I could have another serving all to myself, it may sounds greedy, but they are that awesome! The Chinese broccoli was very delicious and tasty; I had to have two helpings of this item. The Sweet and Sour soup had the bean sprouts that I love so much in them with tomatoes and other vegetables that were very scrumptious! The lemon grass chicken was also a delectable treat.

What didn’t you like?
I didn’t care for the papaya salad with shrimp. The papaya shrimp salad didn’t have enough shrimp for me to savor with the salad dressings and it seemed a bit bland.

I like that it was very reasonably priced and the ambiance was warm and welcoming. The waitress seemed a little impersonal as if we shouldn’t ask her any questions. I REALLY enjoyed the plum wine, it was delicious! I think this place was very accommodating for groups as well.

I like the fact that the food was already selected prior to joining the group at the restaurant. It gave me a chance to expand my horizons without pre judging any items on the menu. The setting was perfect and the food was great.
They could have some mellow Vietnamese music in the background to add to the ambiance…just a thought.
I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant and I look forward to the next eatery and great company!

What did you like BEST?

Loved the group dinner options – allowed everyone to share and try a lot of different dishes. Food was also great – better than I expected.

What didn’t you like?

The kids!! Too loud and too many.

As we get going, it would be good to establish some rules – for example, the waiting period for late members. Also, would prefer restaurants closer to the Alexandria area, especially for Sunday nights, but will try my best to make it to all the future dinners!

What did you like BEST?

The food was excellent, the prices were very reasonable, the service was very good.

What didn’t you like?

The atmosphere was a bit chaotic and noisy since we were seated near a table with all kids; but otherwise the experience was pleasant.

Reservations were a great idea, since it was very busy on a Sunday evening!
